Each hand gripped tightly on to the handles for dear life, so high above the ground, such an awful analogy, if the body falls smashing against the pavement below, if no one is around does it make a sound?

“Have you seen the ladder!?”

Massive groups of people protesting hunger and poor living conditions amongst a long list grievance of unanswered social media post. Against the window my head rested, trying to find some peace within this syndicated American nightmare, hope and salvation are sold for 9.99 plus tax to fools who won’t read the constitution unless it has pictures. The rain kept me physically inside, mentally my mind sulked outside, under and in between the lines.

At the bottom, my hands felt the ocean floor.

Very few are advantageous enough to really feel.

Only when you resurface above water,

lungs eager to embellish the air in the known world,

now I am alive.

My heart full of a different love for this ocean called life every one of US must swim through. I walk differently along the coast, where opinions are littered and washed up critics find comfort explaining nothing. They to are looking and searching for what, who, how only you know.

How deep is perspective,

I almost drowned,

No Pride, Headfirst, The Ladder, The Dive.
