Truthfully I've only seen a couple episodes of "The Golden Girls." TBH I was more a fan of Betty White in her earlier work.
For example.

What is it to be misrepresented?
A wise man once said,
"Never argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who's who."
I believe most people find it easier to identify people based purely upon association. What if from a distance YOU don't understand the situation or the relationship?
Jumping to a conclusion without proper intellectual exchange with those involved IMO is just horrible. But wait a damn minute! Horrible people actually do exist. What if they provoke false narratives with visual FX, AI and the Internet to austrocize individuals? What if up close and personal someone is actually just a shit bag of person but from a distance they manipulate a pleasant appearance?
Authentic people are becoming a rare find nowadays. What's SUS is the phony individuals continue to thrive in caves carved out of malice, victimization, greed and jealousy.
A narcissist who manufactures chaos is a troubled individual and should seek therapy.
I attended my first "Pride Parade" in Chicago years ago. It was a good experience the backlash tho ...
I noted everything.
I remember someone close to me at the time saying.
"I can't be around no gay people fuck all that shit!" My response. "If you walk through a field filled with fruit will it make you a fruit when you exit?" We laughed and went about our day. At that time I was dating a special girl who taught me a lot about life + she attended the parade with me. So let's talk about representation or lack there of.
IMO it wasn't wrong for the person I was close to at the time to have his opinion. What's wrong is from a distance people are so quick marginalize personalities (plural) based on ONE choice in association. He didn't express his view with any "hate" I received it as preference. He didn't attack anyone - he went home. After the pride parade me and the girl I was dating at the time went home and made love. But from a distance without any discourse it's easier for cave dwellers to draw uncivilized conclusions.
I have friends who are LGBTQ and are open about how some others that share "sexual preference" they don't associate with. Based purely on content of character.
"I just don't fuck wit dem."
Is that hate or just preference?
Let me be clear, I don't believe hating any group of people is productive to the growth a development of humankind. Those 🗝️ words tho ... 💭🤔
Growth & Development.
Does the grass tell the tree how to grow?
Does the moon tell the sun it's too bright?
Perhaps we should allow people to grow and develop in their own way wouldn't that be humans being kind?
In conclusion if you want to get to know someone it's damn near impossible to do so from a distance.
"If you're walking with your lady on the sidewalk, I still like to see a man walking street-side, to protect the lady from traffic.
I grew up with that, and I hate to see something like that get lost. I still like to see that a man opens the door. I like those touches of chivalry that are fast disappearing." -- RIP Betty White
